Get to know our two behavior specialized dog trainers!
annie thompson
Annie is a Lead Dog Trainer at Woodland University. She joined the Woodland team in 2019 as a kennel technician and developed an interest in dog body language and behavior.
She moved into the role of Daycare Manager in 2021, while also assisting in training. She became a full time trainer at Woodland University in 2022 specializing in basic obedience. Her interest further grew into behavior modification after learning she had a soft spot for fearful dogs.
Annie is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
isabella white
Isabella is a Lead Dog Trainer at Woodland University. She’s worked in the pet care industry since 2015 where she developed a special interest in behavior modification and advancing obedience.
She joined the Woodland team in 2015 as a kennel technician and was able to develop her skills as a dog trainer through workshops, seminars and working with her personal dogs. She became a full time employee of Woodland University in 2018. Since then she has become recognized as an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and Do More with your dog Trick Dog Evaluator and is currently working at the International School for Certified Dog Trainers.

Bordetella
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) within the last 6 months, and required to be up-to-date at the time of service.
Canine Influenza
Updated every 12 months and required to be up-to-date at the time of service.
Yearly shots
Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and negative fecal. These are the yearly shots distributed at the vet, and they are required to be up-to-date at the time of service.
Flea and tick prevention
We require all dogs be up-top-date on a flea and tick prevention at the time of service.
CLASS OPTIONS
All class times are 8 a.m. drop-off and pick-up anytime after 4 p.m.!
PUPPY PRE-K – $40
Drop your puppy off with us every Thursday! Puppy Pre-k is a 10-week course that will help your new puppy continue their socializing skills after leaving the pawrents! We focus on proper socializing with other pups, basic manners (no jumping, mouthing) + getting them started with focus around distractions! You will receive a report card each week with how your pup did and home work to be worked on throughout the week!
HOUND HIGH – $48
Drop-off every Wednesday. This drop off class is offered every Wednesday! In Hound High we focus on advancing proper socializing skills around large groups of dogs, recall, and impulse control. This class is also geared for pups who may be struggling with timeouts in Woodland West’s Daycare program! You will receive a report card with homework to work on throughout the week!
BALANCED BEHAVIOR ACADEMY – $50
10-week course every Tuesday! This course is for dogs who need help with building their confidence in new environments and more guidance with dog-on-dog play. We focus on proper dog socializing as well as strengthening their response around distractions! You will receive a weekly report card with homework to be worked on throughout the week
