Training is about repeating a behavior over and over for a LONG period of time. What may not be understood is how many sessions of practice, over weeks and weeks, that it takes to get a dog to the level that one would be happy with. Just because a dog can do something once, doesn’t mean they will always have consistency in the future. Even if they do it repeatedly well, it doesn’t mean they won’t make mistakes in the future.
